OH, pshht! That'll be easy! We just go and tell them what's up. One ghost to another!

You found out where they are?

[Loop finally just stabs a pancake and starts munching on it, on the principle of worrying about one breakfast food at a time.]

[Fleuirk has been "helping," at this point worrying one of their pancakes like a dog. She pauses, pancake dangling, to give BJ an interested look. Yeah, where are the ghost hangouts here right now?]

I know a few haunts, yeah. They relocated the graves that could be salvaged. Place is old as balls.

[ BJ isn't really one to do research, but well, he's finally interested in something. He has a direction. A goal. Fuck up some living peoples' day by any means necessary. ]

If we get enough ghosts following us, the others will come out of the woodwork.

Did they just build over the ones they couldn't move...?

[That feels... bad? Yeah. Bad. Logically, there's a lot of buildings out there built over dead things, but...]

[Loop is suddenly feeling more sympathetic to the ghosties.]

...yeah, that should be plenty. One or two ghosts can probably handle a person each, right?

[They still remember the ghostly tea party!!]

[ Beetlejuice nods. ]

Exactly. That's the living for you. Anyway, yeah, we should only need one or two ghosts per vict--i mean trespasser.

[ He dabs crumbs from his mouth with the end of his tie. ]

We'll need disguises, of course.

[loopsiedaisy]

[They know what you were gonna say Beetlejuice!!]

Of course. [Do they?]

I guess we could always try to jump some of the workers heading in or out, steal some uniforms...

It'll probably be easier to find them in your size than mine. [This is the closest they will get to outright admitting that they're short.]

Not a bad idea. I'm not too shabby with a needle and thread, we can get you fixed up!

[Loop eyes BJ's patched up suit, then shrugs mentally. Yeah, that should be fine.] Works for me.

[They start in on the rest of the plate, munching on the hash browns, eggs, and bacon. They are... actually finding themself more hungry as they go along, so maybe it's a good thing this plate is huge. They haven't always been eating the most consistently, what with usually traveling solo aside from their Pokemon.]

[They wave their fork.] Rounding up ghosts first, or disguises first? [Or is there something else they should worry about?]

The round-up, pardner. Gotta have 'em on our side first. I mean, it's a non-issue. Basically. Practically. You have me doing the talking here.

[Loop thinks about a certain teahouse ghost incident. They did get Fleuirk and Booger out of it, and as much of a pain as Fleuirk can be, they have grown fond of her... so it wasn't all bad. Still -]

I'll leave that to you, then~ [They chirp.]

[ He shoves the last bite of waffle into his mouth and after a loud swallow, he drops his fork onto his plate. Then, he rubs his hands together.]

I'm ready when you are.

[Loop finishes off the mouthful they were working on and sacrifices the rest of the plate to Fleuirk, who happily hoovers it up. They stretch, cracking their gloved fingers above their head. Seems like they're ready too.]

[It's not long before the two are back outside. Loop mutters something to Fleuirk, who zooms off excitedly on some sort of quest. (Fetching Burnoît, it's fetching Burnoît.) Then they turn to BJ.] Lead the way!

[Let's see where these relocated graves are at. And how nasty the local ghosts are.]

[ Beetlejuice leads the way. The Radio Tower dominates the skyline of Lavender Town and it remains in view long after they come to stand before the House of Memories--a domed building surrounded by flowers and memorial stones. The sun has started to sink in the sky by now. ]

[ He stands on the curb, hands in his pockets. Beetlejuice shakes his head. ]

Would ya look at this dump?

[Huh. To Loop it doesn't actually look that terrible, but...]

[...actually, you know what, this is a good question.]

Do ghosts actually like flowers? [The ones Loop has seen here seem to prefer spookier environments to haunt. Loop can't say they'd do the same, though they'd prefer not to stick around at all - if they had to pick, a flowery coastline or something sounds much nicer.]

[On the other hand, you'd get to be a lot more dramatic haunting somewhere eerie. So okay, maybe they get it.]
