an extremely minimal attempted-spoiler-free guide to
Not Missing an easily missable epilogue thing in ISAT:
DO NOT CLICK ME UNTIL YOU HAVE REACHED ACT 3
There is a silver coin in your pockets, in the Souvenirs section. You should click it every once in a while, maybe once every few loops. Don't worry about it too much yet (you're trying to trigger an RNG thing that still has low odds at this point). It's pretty likely that you won't get it in this Act.
If The Thing happens, you will know. (If you've gotten an intriguing single line of dialogue but you're not sure if it's happened yet... it hasn't happened.)
CLICK ME IF YOU HAVE REACHED ACT 4 & HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE THING YET
This is fine, you're still good! Continue clicking the coin at your own pace, you're still not in a rush! HOWEVER.
If you ever reach the Head Housemaiden and the game is giving you choice between asking her about something, or to "(Keep looping for a little longer.)" then you are at the no return point!! If you have not yet gotten The Thing, choose to keep looping or you WILL lock yourself out!
Once you loop back, this is the time to just stand in town and repeatedly click the coin until you trigger The Thing. It shouldn't take horribly long, the RNG odds are at their highest point right now.
CLICK ME WHEN YOU GET THE THING
(To confirm: The Thing is an explicit flashback.)
If you haven't found out yet, you can show souvenirs to Loop! To do this, get close to the Favor Tree (when Isabeau isn't there) without actually talking to them. Then click a souvenir in your pocket.
Probably unsurprisingly, you want to show Loop the coin.
Getting the scene where you show Loop the coin (after The Thing) unlocks the missable epilogue content. You'll still need to do something in the epilogue to actually get it, but for now, continue the game!
CLICK ME WHEN YOU HAVE BROKEN OUT OF THE TIME LOOPS AND ARE IN THE LAST ROOM (WITH THE HEAD HOUSEMAIDEN)
So the game doesn't make it super clear (unless there's something in an update that I don't know about?) but: you can leave this room now and go back down to town, unlike all other times. You should do that before you talk to the Head Housemaiden (which ends the game).
This lets you talk to the townsfolk, which is cute, and also perhaps you want to check on the Tree...
(The act that you're in can be seen in the save screen after you save.)
